Conditions of the contract

Signing-on, making the contract, conditions
of payment

The object can be booked by telephone, by letter
or on the Internet address www.crete-stalos.eu.
You will receive a confirmation soon. 30% of the price has
to be paid within 5 days. The rest at least 4 weeks before the beginning of your stay. The contract between the renter and the landlord is valid after the 30% are paid. The landlord can dispose with the object like he wants to, if the money is not being paid during the time of 5 days after reservation. When reservation 29 days or shorter before the begin of the holiday, then the total amount has to be paid immediately and the contract is immediately valid. The landlord has the option to cancel the contract, if the money is not being paid correctly in time or a with a wrong amount. 4 weeks before the holiday, you will receive a receipt if the whole amount is paid. You will give this receipt to the holder of the house keys when you arrive. Special demands from your side are invalid for the landlord, unless the landlord has signed your special demands.

Service and price

The written price is the price for 1 house on 1 day. The minimal period of time is 7 days. The days of arrival and departure are usually Saturdays, but it can be changed on request. Exceptions are possible, when the landlord signs them. The price includes 1 set of towels and bed- laundry, and the house cleaning at the end of the holiday. The costs for the heating are not in the price if you rent the object outside of the heating season. Optional costs for recreation have to be paid in Stalos. The special services (extra house cleaning, wood for the oven etc…) demanded by the renter are not included in the price. Arrival- departure, shortening- extension of the holiday

The arrival should place after 16:00 in the afternoon, the departure till 10:00 in the morning. You should tell the time of your arrival in advance, so that the holder of the house-keys can welcome you and give you the keys with instructions. Your money can expire if you don’t arrive in time and don’t inform the holder of the keys for reasons like traffic jams, strikes or personal reasons. The same conditions count if you depart from the object before the end of your rental time. Contact the landlord right in time if you want to extend your staying.

Canceling the contract by the renter

  • If you cancel the contract up to 92 days before the arrival, we will charge you 300€
  • If you cancel the contract between 91 to 29 days before the arrival, we will charge 50% of the rental price
  • Between 28 and 1 day before the arrival we charge
    100% of the rental price
  • Deciding is the point of time, when the landlord receives the information of the cancellation ( on Sunday and holidays it is the next working day). If the object won’t be given to you, your money expires.

Canceling the contract by the landlord

The landlord is allowed to cancel the contract before or during the value of the contract, if unexpected or unavoidable things make it impossible to give you the object, or if the renter is in danger, or if the fulfillment of the contract to a certain point isn’t possible. Already paid money will be, after subtraction for already fulfilled services, paid back.

Duties of the renter

When the key will be given to you, you have to pay an amount of 200 euro for caution cash, which can be found also on your receipt. The handover of the object can be refused, if the caution won’t be paid. The rented house can only be used by the told number of persons. Other persons won‘t be accepted by the landlord. The object has to be kept tidy. It is necessary to think of the neighbors etc. The cleaning of the kitchen, the dishes and the setting has to be done by the renter and is not included in the cleaning at the end of the holiday. The renter warrants for damage caused by him and the people staying with him, except for the case that he or she can prove their innocence. The same counts, if the object cannot be given to the next guest. The costs can be charged with the caution.

Warrants of the landlord

The landlord warrants that all dates are correct. The landlord does not warrant, if the existing damage refers to following things:

  • for the acting or representation of your side or the other users
  • for unforeseen or unavoidable losses caused by a third person
  • for circumstances, caused by higher power which cannot be expected or avoided by the provider as a middleman and executer (for example in case of the holder of the keys)
  • for the using of the swimming pool
